Ingrown Eyelash Removal

Eyelashes that grow in an abnormal direction can rub against the eye, causing symptoms ranging from mild irritation to severe pain from corneal ulceration.

Treatment options include:

  • epilation (plucking them out)
  • Laser treatment
  • Cryotherapy (freezing)
  • Surgery

The best treatment option depends on a number of factors, such as how often the eyelashes grow back, how many abnormal eyelashes there are and wether they are confined to one cluster or if the grow along the length of the eyelid.

Plucking the eyelashes every month or so can be inconvenient and time consuming. Talk to us about permanent abnormal eyelash removal options.
